It is late February now and I have not posted a blog since November… What have I been doing?
Yes, I could say that I have been too busy with training or with work. However, I think we would all know that I would have had at least some time in the last few months to put together a blog about a running race or my 2020 season overview. But truth be told, I have not felt the motivation to post anything on here as I feel I have nothing to show for it in my 2020 season
I have been struggling during the last couple of months and I am not afraid to admit that. I have not had the motivation to get up in the morning, eat the right foods or even sometimes to train.
However, I have been training consistently and on a positive note, I know I am the fittest I have ever been. That can be seen in my bike and run testing I have been doing in January, which I will explain in a future blog.

I want this blog to be transparent and for people to see the good and the bad side of my journey. My goals have changed significantly in the last couple of months, which I will write a blog about, but that is a good thing!
As well as new triathlon goals, I have some goals I would like to achieve with this blog…
One of them being, I would like interact with people more, and people to interact with me:
- Ask questions
- Request blogs or social media posts on certain areas of my life / training
- Or even just reach out to me for a chat
These are just some ideas I have had. I will also be looking at revamping the web page. So hopefully, that will be sorted by the race season when my blog will start seeing some consistent postings.
I would like to thank my sponsors, Smith Heath for their continued support in me, Infrastar for the amazing race and training kit that I get to wear. Spinavita for keeping me in shape and able to race and also Chloe Witts for my ongoing sports therapy and recovery sessions. Greeper Laces for allowing me to have fast transitions and a great run split. Finally my coach from T3, Mark Threlfall for all the coaching and support! It has made a massive impact on my triathlon and I couldn’t be more grateful to you all.
Please don’t hesitate to email me any questions or advice that you have for me, and follow me on Instagram and Facebook (see link at the bottom of my page) so we can go through our triathlon journeys together.
