I’m really pleased to have completed my first T3 (my triathlon team) training day back, after my long recovery period I have had to take due to a knee injury I sustained on a mountain bike weekend back in November 2021.

It was great to get a good open water swim in with some of the faster members of the team. I learn a great deal from them even if I am a lot slower than them and get dropped in the warm up. We then went out on the bikes for a few hours and of course stopped for coffee and cake!
I don’t want to dwell on and bore you all with the issues I have had with my knee. I have had it at the front of my mind for so long and have had to make the hard decision of not racing the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in October. So I am putting it behind me now!
Fortunately, due to all the treatment I get from Chloe Witts and Anna, at Spinavita, I am now able to get back to training. I owe a massive thank you to them both for putting up with me for the last 9 months and getting me back to this point. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them.
I am also very lucky to have the ongoing support of Infrastar . A few weeks back I met a couple of the team to put out a blog on their website (so please check that out). Without their support and the encouragement they give me I surely wouldn’t be able to get back to training and competing at the level I want to.

I would like to thank my sponsors, Smith Heath for their continued support in me and Veritable Solutions for all their support. Finally my coach from T3, Mark Threlfall for all the coaching and support! It has made a massive impact on my triathlon and I couldn’t be more grateful to you all.
Please don’t hesitate to email me any questions or advice that you have for me, and follow me on Instagram and Facebook (see link at the bottom of my page) so we can go through our triathlon journeys together.
